Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada's goal is to educate every child in Northern Nevada about free enterprise.

Junior Achievement educates and inspires young people to value free enterprise, business and economics in order to improve the quality of their lives.

Junior Achievement is the world's largest and fastest-growing non-profit econoimc education organization. Our kindergarten through twelfth grade programs are taught by volunteers from the business community, and reach more than 7,000 kindergarten through twelfth grade students in Northern Nevada. Our office is located in Reno at 785 West Sixth Street.

Through our programs, we not only educate local students about business, but we are able to take business leaders, parents, retirees, and many others from the community and put them right into the classrooms of our local schools. Our children are able to hear how our enterprise system works from those with experience and those who are willing to share with them.

JA takes volunteers from the community and puts them face-to-face with our students throught the simplest form of human contact - sharing.
